Göttingen: PhD. stress physiology in wild Assamese macaques Tisk

The Department of Primate Social Evolution (http://www.uni-goettingen.de/en/153624.html) at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen is looking to fill a PhD position

with 50% of the regular working hours (currently 19.9 hours per week) with a limited contract of 1 year with a possible extension for another 2 years. This position should be filled by approximately 01.02.2015. Salary: Pay grade 13 TV-L.

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to work on the links between social interactions, social relationships and stress physiology in wild Assamese macaques (Macaca assamensis). The project will combine behavioral observations with non-invasive hormone analysis and will be part of the Assamese macaque project at Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary, Thailand (http://www.uni-goettingen.de/en/field-site/153680.html).
