Doctoral student position - parallel evolution in slave-making ants University of Regensburg, Institute for Zoology The doctoral student will work in tight collaboration with other members of the research team of Prof. J. Heinze in Regensburg (http://www.uni-regensburg.de/evolution) but will also conduct genomic and bioinformatics analyses jointly with the teams of Prof. Erich Bornberg-Bauer (https://www.uni-muenster.de/Biologie/Mitarbeiter/Bornberg-Bauer.html) and Prof. Susanne Foitzik (http://www.bio.uni-mainz.de/zoo/evobio/). In Regensburg the student will enroll in the Regensburg International Graduate School of Life Sciences (http://www.rigel-regensburg.de/) with workshops, summer schools, method courses, seminars, etc. Applicants with degrees from non-European countries need to pass a PhD qualification exam before admission.
