Project: Innovative non-destructive technologies for detailed comparative morphological analysis of extant and fossil organisms Using advanced imaging techniques and 3D analysis to document and study extinct and recent taxa, is becoming ever more crucial to understanding the biodiversity and evolutionary history of any zoological group. This project aims at the development of innovative and efficient protocols for observation and recording of morphological characters from extant and fossil specimens of insects and other arthropods to shed light on their phylogenetic relationships and evolutionary history.
