The Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Southern Denmark invites applications for a position as professor in the Sound Communication and Behaviour Group. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.

We expect a candidate with a strong research background including research at the highest international level within the broad field of Animal Bioacoustics and Behavioural Biology, administrative and leadership experience as well as experience in supervision and teaching at all levels.

The successful candidate will be expected to actively seek national and international funding sources, to engage in international collaboration, to provide strong leadership within the group and to actively participate in the department’s teaching and administrative duties, including supervision of BSc, MSc, and PhD students.
