TO DO:
Developing process-based dynamical models to understand complex disease
dynamics in the light of heterogeneity of host behaviour and contact
rates due to social processes. Research will focus on a highly social
carnivore, the spotted hyena, and long-term data on demography, social
processes and viral genotypes determined by the IZW's long-term spotted
hyena project in the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.
