Start your scientific career in Berlin: We offer 15 fellowships!
The DFG Research Training Group 2046 âParasite Infections: From Experimental Models to Natural Systemsâ offers 15 cutting edge PhD research projects on âOne Healthâ aspects of Parasite Infections.
We aim to install a cutting edge curriculum to educate ânext generationâ parasitologists. In an interdisciplinary approach, graduates will be trained in molecular approaches, cellular interactions and organismic studies on key parasites of model organisms, free-ranging animals and humans. RTG students will study different parasite infections from the biological, medical, and translational perspectives. The scientists are affiliated to well-known institutes, i.e. the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology, the Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces, the Leibniz Institute for Zoo & Wildlife Research, and the Robert Koch Institute as well as institutes of the Humboldt-Universitaet zu Berlin, the Freie Universitaet Berlin and the Charité âUniversitaetsmedizin Berlin.
