Our lab is part of the Department of Biosciences with its vibrant and
collaborative research community of experimental, computational, and
theoretical labs that all share a common interested in Evolutionary
Biology. Cutting edge infrastructure is available at all levels,

Stockholm University, and the University of Bielefeld among others.

The main goal of the post doc project is to examine the genetics of
phenotypic plasticity in life history traits using quantitative genetic
and genomic approaches. The postdoc's main responsibility will be to
analyse existing data and lead hypothesis-driven genomic analyses in an
evolutionary context. This includes large-scale Ilumina genotype data. In
addition the candidate will also be involved in some field/lab work to
collect additional data to examine DNA methylation patterns. Specific
projects within the scheme of the lab are flexible and can be tailored

The successful candidate should have PhD / postdoctoral experience within
the fields of evolutionary genetics/genomics or evolutionary biology
and a strong interest in the use of large genetic datasets to address
important questions in evolutionary biology. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills in English are required and you must also demonstrate
